Not only to recover from the long flight but also to explore the city itself, as Kuala Lumpur is definitely worth it. I’ve been to this metropolis three times and always discover new things. There’s another reason why I love coming to this city: there are plenty of good hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The price-quality ratio is excellent, so you can book a super deluxe apartment in a hotel with an infinity pool in Kuala Lumpur on a reasonable budget.

The Face Suites

I have experience with several hotels in Kuala Lumpur, but so far, I find The Face Suites to be the absolute winner in terms of the best price-quality ratio. It’s a great place to sleep off your jet lag and recharge for your trip through Malaysia! You stay in luxurious, large apartments with a beautiful view of the city. Additionally, the hotel has a stunning infinity pool without a glass wall at the edge, offering an unobstructed view of the city! This hotel in Kuala Lumpur is also centrally located, making it easy to reach all attractions quickly. It’s an excellent base to explore the city. I particularly enjoyed having breakfast outdoors on the rooftop terrace. For me, this hotel in Kuala Lumpur is truly a must-visit!

Capri by Fraser

At the luxurious Capri by Fraser hotel, you can choose from various rooms and apartments. The location is also ideal, near Bukit Bintang yet on a quiet street. From the beautiful pool, you have a fantastic view of the city! If you enjoy working out, the gym at this hotel will surely please you. This new hotel in Kuala Lumpur is also highly recommended!

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and fully equipped. The location near KLCC Park is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. As a result, the hotel also offers a splendid view of the Petronas Towers!

KLoe Hotel

We best describe the interior of KLoe Hotel as urban chic; isn’t it a sight to behold? This style extends to the rooms, which are bright with large windows. While the KLoe Hotel in Kuala Lumpur doesn’t have an infinity pool, it does have a very nice swimming pool. The location is also good, within walking distance of Bukit Bintang.

CitizenM Kuala Lumpur

CitizenM Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang is a relatively new hotel in the vibrant heart of Kuala Lumpur. The rooms feature various tech gadgets, such as curtains you can close with a tablet. The air conditioning is also controlled this way. The rooms are compact but smartly designed, equipped with comfortable beds and a bathroom with a rain shower. Due to its central location in Bukit Bintang, you are close to shops, restaurants, and bars, making it a great base for exploring the city. This hotel in Kuala Lumpur is also just a few minutes’ walk from a train station.

Mingle Hostel

A few years ago, I stayed in Kuala Lumpur with Annemarie, and because we were traveling on a budget, we chose Mingle Hostel. This turned out to be a great choice! This hostel in Kuala Lumpur has nice dorms with beds that have curtains for privacy. You can also opt for a private room with its own bathroom, which is also very affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Additionally, many activities are organized. But the main advantage of this hostel is its great location in Chinatown!

VE Hotel & Residenc

During my last trip through Malaysia, I also spent a night at VE Hotel & Residence. Since we were traveling with a baby, we chose a comfortable apartment on the outskirts of the city. This hotel is located in a business district in Kuala Lumpur, so it’s not the ideal base for exploring the city, but it’s a nice place if you need to spend a night in Kuala Lumpur during your tour or before your return flight. Tip: you can book a wonderful massage at 26th Street Beauty Spa in the adjoining shopping center!

Ceylonz Starlight Suites Bukit Bintang

If you’re looking for a hotel in Kuala Lumpur with a special pool, then Ceylonz Starlight Suites Bukit Bintang should definitely be on your list. From the rooftop terrace, you have a beautiful view of the city. This hotel also has lovely, spacious rooms and a good gym. The location is also great, close to Chinatown.

MoMo’s Kuala Lumpur

If you’re looking for an affordable, trendy hotel in Kuala Lumpur, then MoMo’s might be a good option for you. Here, you’ll find simplistic but clean rooms at a good price, with the option of a double bed or two single beds. The location is good, within walking distance of the Tuanku Monorail station and the Chow Kit night market.

Opus Residences by Opus Hospitality

Another option for a beautiful but affordable apartment in Kuala Lumpur is Opus Residences by Opus Hospitality. This apartment complex is within walking distance of the Maharajalela monorail station and Chinatown. Most apartments are spacious and offer a stunning view of the city.
